Kool – Aid, the iconic, smile-inspiring beverage has unveiled a comprehensive new brand campaign called “Smile. It’s Kool-Aid.” This is a new look and feel for the brand and a snappy return of the famous spokespitcher, Kool-Aid Man. Joel Miller of Cut + Run edited this refreshing look at the beloved Kool-Aid mascot, directed by Anonymous’ Brian Billow for Saatchi & Saatchi NY.
Green Dot Films is proud to now be representing Minivegas for live action, animation and visual effects projects. The signing of the Amsterdam and Los Angeles based creative studio further solidifies our relationship with Minivegas founder and director Luc Schurgers, who they’ve had the pleasure of repping in the US for roughly three years.
Minivegas is an innovative studio made up of directors, digital artists, programmers, and designers, all focused on creating cutting edge visual experiences. Luc and Minivegas began their career by winning two Clio Awards for their work with TBWA Paris and Nissan. Last year they won 4 Lions at The Cannes Advertising Festival for their work on CNN Ecosphere. Their work has been nominated for multiple D&AD Awards, and they’ve been nominated as Best New Directors at the CADS. They’ve also been selected to appear in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase at Cannes; and have been named Directors to Watch by Creativity and Boards Magazine.

They recognized an opportunity to expand their brand into Primetime with entertainment programming anchored around the network’s core theme: money. This new brand needed to appeal to upwardly mobile men, feel premium without being elitist, and make a clear visual and tonal break from Business Day. Gretel created the new CNBC Prime network rebrand above including a cinematic library of footage (sizzle reel) that speaks to their target audience. Greg Hahn (CD/Owner) and Tom Edwards (AD) co-directed everything from models to motorcycles, sports cars to single-malt. Enjoy!

“The Cap’n Crunch Show,” an animated series of webisodes aimed at adults, produced by Visual Creatures of Gifted Youth with HUGE debuted its teaser today with nine future episodes set to air on YouTube.
The show is a bold comeback for Cap’n Horatio Magellan Crunch, an iconic figure who starred in commercials that were a mainstay during Saturday morning cartoons from the 1960s to the 1980s.
